What it means for your floor

Qualification is day one, verification is forever
A floor is qualified once, when it goes in. TR53 is about everything after that: the recurring checks that prove the floor is still doing its job while people walk on it, clean it and wheel carts across it.

It is a technical report, not a requirement
TR53 gives the methods. Your own program document, written to S20.20, sets how often you run them. Auditors generally want to see both: the schedule and the results.

This is where floors quietly fail
A floor that passed on day one and has never been rechecked is an assumption, not a control. Resistance drifts with wear and with what gets applied to the surface.
